Natural Selection CANCELLED

By • Jan 5th, 2009 • Category: News

Not since the Legendary Banked Slalom of 2005 has an event’s cancellation caused such a stir. Actually, since the Natural Selection only happened once, and it’s NOT due to horrid snow conditions, this is nothing like that. But anyway, all the other sites are yapping about it so here ya go. The official word:

“This winter, snowboarding fans will continue to try to grasp the cinematic magnitude of Thats it Thats All. They will see Travis compete in contests, they will read about him in the media and they will see repeated airings of the Natural Selection TV special on Fuel TV. If the Transworld Exposure-Meter is any indication, they wont be able to turn a corner without seeing Travis face. But they will have to wait for the second iteration of this now legendary contest as we have collectively decided not to run it in 2009. Of course, we all continue to believe in Travis concept and the incredible team that made it all happen and we hope to bring it back, bigger and better than ever, in 2010. Thats not it, thats not all. There is more to come.”
