THE BEST IN THE WORLD ARE CONFIRMED FOR WHISTLER’S MONSTER SNOWBOARD EVENT!
Whistler, BC – April 14, 2009 –Grenade, a worldwide leader in action sports, and Monster Energy have joined forces to bring the Grenade Games to Canada. After 14 years of blowing minds, earlobes and livers, the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival is rolling out the tie-dye carpet for a truly international all-star snowboard lineup. Traditionally the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival has attracted high performance athletes but with the inclusion of Grenade Games the injection of incredibly credible talent is exceptional and a rarity at Canadian events. Athletes Danny Kass, Danny Davis, Iikka Backstrom, Hana Beaman, Jamie Anderson, Leanne Pelosi, and Marie-France Roy will be bringing their Olympic, X Games and US Open pedigrees to town. Access to this caliber of rider was possible through the collaboration of Monster Energy with the grass roots Grenade Games snowboard event.
