You may remember last week when another photo was lost in the line of fire of the Firing Squad. Anyway, we finally got the story behind this worthy shot of Kade Madsen from Ben Birk.

I went with the Eastern Boarder crew threw Utah on a rail mission and we discovered this construction site.  All of the ledges and walls were this flat ugly grey color and was making for very bland photos.  To give the photo some much needed color I gelled the wall purple, and tried to make something out of very little.

The lights in the photo are from the filmer.  The lights bought for the trip were not powerful enough for his new HVX200A, and had to be placed very close to the wall.
