You know what’s cheaper than giving someone a pro model of something? Giving them their own colorway! Seriously, it’s almost as hot as collabo’s these days! etnies snow is getting in on the action giving two of its lovely ladies some crayons and telling them to go nuts on whatever etnies shoe they wanted! Here’s the official word on what Leanne Pelosi and Marie France Roi came up with.

Lake Forest, Calif. (June 15, 2009) – etnies snow team riders know that high-performance shoes don’t have to compromise on style and have delivered two new colorways hitting stores in June. Leanne Pelosi and Marie-France Roy capture their own unique personality, style and spirit in their personal colorway of the etnies Rap Super Slim (RSS) and Perry Mid.

Leanne Pelosi wanted a shoe that would go with everything in her closet and selected the RSS for its classic and sleek design.  For her signature colorway, she hit it with black and gold detailing. The printed design on the footbed is inspired from antique wallpaper that she found and Leanne says the shoe is a blast from the past. The RSS is etnies slimmest shoe ever featuring the classic etnies Rap styling on a vulcanized outsole and a rope tread outsole.

Mixing cool colors and textures, team rider Marie-France Roy chose green, blue and lime yellow for the Perry Mid. She says the shoe is three-fold: “stylish, badass and happy all at the same time.�  Embellished with an elephant charm, this represents Marie-France’s taste for action, her strength, durability and pride. She even incorporated animal print on the action leather to mimic that of an elephant, giving it depth and personality.
