Brian Higbee Gets Taken Out

When we emailed Brian Higbee to let him know his shot was out of contention for the Firing Squad, he simply responded “I got fucking taken out for sure.” But it seems like he’ll be able to continue on living and even took a few minutes to explain the artistry behind his shot.

“While taking a break skating at a buddy’s mini out in the woods, I set up my lights and shot a bunch… this being one of Donny Barley of Zoo York. I used three flashes for this shot. 1. Far camera left to light the trees. 2. Near camera left to light the front of Donny and 3. camera right (rim light) to light him up and pull him off the background.”
