No one in action sports is crushing Twitter as hard as Tony Hawk. At last count he checked it with 1,476,365 followers (impressive, but nothing compared to @yobeatdotcom’s 1201!) His Twitter hunt has been adopted by bloggers such as Shayboarder and SouthoftheNorth and even Todd Richards has been holding his own twitter trivia giveaways as of late. The latest brilliant PR move by the Birdman was especially awesome if you ask us. After tweeting about having accrued over 125,000 miles in the air already this year, he decided to share the wealth and offer his followers a chance to win a free round trip ticket anywhere in the continental US on him. The prize would go to the first person to correctly answer this question:

@brookegeery: I didn’t. But luckily I know the smartest man in action sports, Jared Souney, who suggested it was probably the Big Lebowski. Apparently that movie is big with aging action sports types. I was looking at the feed and people were guessing everything from Risky Business to Fast Times, so I figured might as well. A few seconds later, I won.

@brookegeery: No, not my fault no one else got it. In fact I want to shove this in the face of everyone who’s ever said “I don’t get Twitter” or made fun of me for constantly checking it.
