Then again, this isn’t just a regular battle because this one is for the Champion’s Gallery, and eventually an Ultimate Champion’s Battle of the future. It may be hard to remember two weeks ago, but our Champ’s handplant has been dominating, so for this week, a mellow, lit up log jib seems like it will make for a fun competitor. So send someone to victory or stop them in their tracks, it’s up to you.

Champ, nice daylight and coloring, but it’s such a shitty crop I can’t handle it. Just looks like you shopped him into the foreground. Besides, backwoods shit is what snowboarding is all about. Challenger FTW

I’m not sure the champ is 8×10… I’m no mathmagician, but that looks closer to a medium-format faux-hasselblad crop to me
I am with the challenger on this one… Champs looks a little too perfect in the shadows specifically in the leg area. The light wraps around the leg and turns to shadow in such a way that it screams enhanced to me… If it truely isn’t then that’s one hell of a shot but dig the scene and overall capture in the challenger shot… either way, great shots both of you!

My photo is the “champ” right now and I’m fine with losing. But tell me how the last vote sesh I was in was like 280 votes and this shit is already at 3,410. There’s losing and then there is getting screwed lol.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I’m all for creating usernames and passwords required to vote on the photo battle. At least that would make it more of a hassle for the cheaters. It’s not like it matters on the main page poll, but I think the one that involves people winning bomb ass gloves and backpacks, more security may not be so bad…
Yeah, shit is broke. I am on it… couple different ideas to fix: either we try and add captcha to vote, or there is always you must log into vote. Any preferences?

It’s quite amazing. I think the script is just left over from whoever tried to rig the Ultimate Champs battle, but like i said, I got a guy working on it…
how the hell is the challenger winning????!? not only is it lacking in composition, but the lighting is uneven and warm. and on top of that it looks a little soft. As for the champs photo, lighting is on point, composition may be centered here but it works for this photo. rather than making this a popularity battle, vote the way youre meant to and pick the better photo which in this case is clearly the champ..
i think the one problem with the champs is the sun. Now this photo isamazing and better than what I could dream of shooting but that sun takes away from it. I look at it and see the rider but then my eyes are drawn to the sun. But the lighting is better than in the challenger.
