Firing Squad: July 27, 2010
By Tim Zimmerman • Jul 27th, 2010 • Category: Latest, Photo BattleNothing says Oregon summer like concrete skateparks, and this year, the place to be is Windells concrete jungle. Our challenger got there, and was able to use the radness to get this photo. But does the ridiculous awesomeness of the park translate into a photo that can dethrone our champ? You decide!
The Champ

The Challenger

Champ, easy
Champ wins this for me.
Not too sure about the WB and over saturation on the Champs… I’ve never seen Yellow Concrete
Ahh, Zim, can you bring back the full res option? That second photo looks to be lit really well, but I can’t really tell when it’s that small. Not to mention the skater is like 10 feet out with a tight grab, and the color and lighting is aesthetically pleasing. I’m going challenger, but not because the champ isn’t a good photo.
Also, the challenger’s photo file name is Banks, that’s not banks gilberti is it? If so… that kid’s the shit.
White balance is fine on the champ I think, it seems that the concrete is yellow from the sunset and the yellow street lights
it is banks gilberti
Damn, banks is too good at his sport to be this good at skateboarding… banks, if you read this, dont fcking forget to come back to vermont to kids like me, and kids like derek, and chill with us man, high school was homo, but hit me up son-Zack
Yellow concrete? I think it’s called a sunset, bro.
Yeah… I don’t think it’s the sunset that’s making the concrete that color, it’s wack lighting.
