People’s Court: Tyler May vs Blake Axelson

Chances are if you’re reading this right now, you aren’t at Mt. Hood snowboarding because there is pretty much no internet to be found in Government Camp. That being said, if you aren’t snowboarding you are probably yearning to get back on the snow and start ripping your local hill. The two contenders in this week’s Peoples Court captured their last season’s adventures on (digital) film and want you to judge them. The one with the most votes wins some Yobeat shwag and a chance at a Banshee Bungee.

WOW first trick i knew i was voting for blake.. when i used to work at mammoth i would see kids ride like blake all the time.. having their tricks super dialed in after doing them over and over.. other kid looked liked the kids i would see come on the weekend that thought they were about to get sponsored or something who take 50 tries for each of the tricks landed on their edit. Blake was sooo much better that he could afford to choose terrible song too!

Both edits were pretty whack. Given that they are amatures I dont expect alot, however these videos were all just the same repeated lame tricks on different rails n such..no creativity and an overall lack of style. The music was terrible mainstream BS….both of them. These edits should both be 2 min long.

I don’t know if the kids above me even snowboard and know whats a good trick from a bad one.. But blake killed it.. He has a little growing into his style to do but he’s really good.. I really enjoyed watching him ride for the most part. Tyler killed it for me when I was watching his gopro footage in the starting and looking at all the stashs of pow around him and how slow he was going, It’s pow dude! Point it!
