Firing Squad: January Champions Battle
By admin • Jan 24th, 2012 • Category: Features, Latest, Photo BattleThis experiment in especially shameless self promotion has been fun, but now it’s time to get serious. The four photographers in this month’s battle have only had to battle themselves… until now. What you’re looking at is the best of the best and they are all in the running for a brand new Burton camera pack. So vote wisely, so that one of their promotional efforts will not be for naught.
Jason Tackitt

Abe Blair

Jordan Ingmire

Sean K Sullivan

Think you can do this good or better? The Firing Squad is a weekly photo competition. When win a weekly battle, you will receive a gift certificate worth $50 good for anything at a select Burton dealer near you. Each month, the four winning photos will again do battle for a place in the Champions Gallery and a Burton Camera Pack! To enter your own photo in the Firing Squad, check out our submission guidelines. Happy shooting!

Jordan’s is tight, but Jason’s is awesome. I also like Sean’s, and knowing that he had to drag that lighting gear around and set it up in the woods deserves some proper respect.

No contest for me. Tackitt’s photo kills. Ingmire’s would do it for me if there wasn’t some guy popping up over the roller in the background.

Tackitt’s! Proper light, proper focus, proper style. Shredding right there!

Sullivans shot isn’t even sharp. How’s he winning? Who the fuck is voting on here?

They are all tight. I’m going based on my sixth, or seventh sense…
My vote is for Sullivan.

I’m voting for Jordan as he’s the hardest working man in snow-business these days. That opening shot from Jackson Tackitt, however, is the business. It is really awesome to see the shred foto bar being pushed, tweaked, enhanced and promoted. Well done, all you guys. Can you add a slideshow of all the entries from week after week all year long to the bottom of the contest? That way we can see all the shots from the year? Ride safe.

Glad to hear that Jordan is the “hardest working man in snow-business these days” but we’re voting on the photos and which one is best, not who we think is the hardest working.
