Firing Squad: Paris Gore vs Alex Mlynarek

By • Mar 6th, 2012 • Category: Features, Latest, Photo Battle

After a month of bearing tindy grabs, ass shots, nuclear flash blasting & ski forum infiltration it’s time for a return to the “good” Photo Battles here at Yobeat. Granted, good is subjective but you have to admit that after last month, these two photos might as well be the cover of your favorite magazine…

Which shot will it be? Paris Gore’s clean miller flip snap at Tube City or Alex Mlynarek’s moodily processed front lip on a tube somewhere else? You decide.

And, don’t forget to keep the photo submissions rolling in.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Think you can do this good or better? The Firing Squad is a weekly photo competition. Photographers winning a weekly battle in March will receive a $50 gift certificate good for anything at Satellite Board Shop or on http://www.satelliteboardshop.com/. Each month, the four winning photos will again do battle for a place in the Champions Gallery and a Burton Camera Pack! To enter your own photo in the Firing Squad, check out our submission guidelines. Happy shooting!

Photoshop and color correction are apart of photography now a days.
The 2nd picture would still be awesome, even with out the photoshopping.

Photoshop may be apart of photography. But after a certain amount of “editing,” the actual photography part of the picture is no longer the art. With this said, photo 2 is awful Photoshop work anyways. It is a poor attempt to make a blurry picture taken with too slow of a shutter speed for a night picture look decent. Guaranteed photo1 was worked up but look how beautiful it still looks. Great shot Paris. There is no way you should lose.

the person doing the miller flip isn’t even the focal point of the picture. Each time I look at it I am focused on the snow below it
