Rome SDS Presents: 9th Annual Pre-Jib

By • Nov 2nd, 2012 • Category: News

As mountains start to open, it’s time for Rome to get together with resorts across North America to kick the season off with the early season fun known as Premature Jibulation.

Still rooted in the idea of a good-timey, early-season contest for local shreds, Pre-Jib is back and better than ever this year. Each location will feature the all-new Jib Snake course – a snake run style setup with jib features all over it, giving you more ways to have fun and get creative with your riding.

Not only have we stepped up the course, but the prizes have gotten bigger as well.  First Place will get upgraded with a full Rome set-up and as well as a seasons pass to the host resort at select locations.  With the new Cash For Tricks, we’ll be giving out a crisp hundred dollar bill to the best trick on five different—if someone puts the hammer on each feature, a local can walk with all $500. If you’re more into filming than riding, that’s cool too, because we’re giving away a 2013 Hammerhead to the best edit per location.  To submit your video, just email a link to your edit no more than five days after the event over to ridercouncil[at]romesnowboards[dot]com to enter.
Prizes:
• Best Overall:
1st Place: Board, Boots, Bindings + Season Pass
2nd Place:  Board and Bindings
3rd Place: Boots and a Backpack
• Best Lady Shred: Detail Rocker
• Best edit per stop:  Hammerhead
And, of course, there will be a hot-dog BBQ.
So find the stop nearest you, bring your friends, and head down for some good times brought to you by your local hill, Snowboarder Magazine, and Rome SDS.
