Zumiez Presents: The 2013 Baker Banked Slalom Video

This year, Zumiez held a contest on Yobeat giving away two slots to the Legendary Mt. Baker Banked Slalom. Thanks to Instagram artistry and the luck of the draw, Paul Stanley and Bo Valencia got a chance to race, and even managed to make finals. There they joined legends and race veterans like Travis Rice, Seth Wescott, Terje Håkonsen, Temple Cummins, Blair Habenicht, Kevin Pearce, Barrett Christy, Laura Hadar and more. Well, not really, because they were in older am, not pro, but whatever. Lib Tech also held a handplant contest, which turned into a jumping fest.

    Great event…on a side note though, It’s pretty sad that so many people buy snow and skateboards in a mall. Seeing smaller decent independent shops closing all around the country and “them” shitting multiple stores all over different countries like a Starbucks on every corner is gross. Bummer they were able to buy their way into an event with such deep roots.
