About two months ago, I had no idea who Jef Billo was, but in recent history he has become a force to be reckoned with on the east coast scene.  After he easily beat out Jeremy Baye at the Snowboarder East Coast quarterpipe contest, it was pretty apparent that he was ready to be a major player.  Next season he could tank the ranks with Rich Nesshoever and Rahm Klampert as east coast super stars, but being the punk ass that he is, he's heading out to Utah next week. Oh well.

How old are you?

I am 23 years old.

How long have you been riding?

9 years

Sponsors?

Limited, Northwave, Drake Bindings, Wave Rave.  They're cool people.   It's nice to finally work with cool people.

You do realize you ride for a Canadian company, right?

eh.

Do you feel bad about this?

Take off you hoser.  I love Canadians, they drink a lot of beer.

I've heard you referred to as a professional drinker.  What is your beverage of choice?

Fat Tire Ale.  It's the reason I'm going back out west.  They only serve it in CO.

If this snowboarding bit doesn't work out do you see a future in drinking?

No, well no.  Drinking just kind of goes hand in hand with snowboarding.  You know it's the typical white trash deal.  It's like when you come home after a long day of work, crack one open, and you kick it.

How come you came back from Utah in the first place?

I hadn't seen my family in a long time.  I wanted to ride blue ice,   Powder Days are boring. No challenge.

Then why are you going back there in a week?

Is spelling your name wrong an attempt at separating yourself from the ever growing field of Jeff's in the snowboard industry?

No, it came from spelling my name for top finishes in arcade games, and it's easy.

Did learning to ride at ghetto mountains make it easier to become a Rockstar at good ones?

Okay. Who said I was a Rockstar?

How many times have you performed the "Dirty Sanchez"?

Just last night, somebody got Sanchezed but I won't drop any names.

If you could have either a toothbrush or a snowboard, which would you choose?

Toothbrush, I have to have clean teeth to kiss pretty girls.

What are you going to do with yourself after you can't snowboard anymore?

Build homes.

Shout outs?

Yo, Word up. Yo wassup Timmy, why did you tell her to interview me? I'm not worthy.   How you doin down in Binghamton guys? I'm gay. I used to be a woman.  Thanks to all my sponsors for being cool with me, especially Matty.
