Smell the Glove Video Premier

Our talented staff

Beginning at dusk at the Sunset Drive-in and after partying at Club Metronome-a night consisting of steezy snowboarders, falling down, and breaking the law.

We all looked forward to this weekend and now that nearly a month has passed, it definitely deserves to be recorded in Yobeat history. For the Yobeat staff in town, the night started with a quiet dinner at the Church Street Tavern appropriately located on Church Street in Burlington. A few very popular and well-known faces graced my presence, including the likes of Brooke Geery, Pat Bridges, Danny Kass, and even Levins. I know you all are wondering, and yes I did ask Brooke for her autograph, it is now on eBay if you want to get your hands on it.

Retards

From there, the intoxication proceeded with a crew of people at a local residence and I vaguely recall Levins volunteering to be my professional note taker for the evening. I was supposed to pay for his services. This never ended up happening. An 802 van arrived to give a sober ride to the drive-in but I was in too much of a rare form to be cordially invited on this source of transportation. In other words, apparently this van couldn't handle me. Finally, Pretty Pat arrived after being ditched in Killington and the Tahoe filled with a bunch of jerks and sluts strolled fashionably late to the premier. I don't remember us stopping to pay to get in, were we supposed to?

Riot!

Grenade pulled the pin and the ruckus began. A few of the most recent videos appeared on the big screen including Smell the Glove, The Community Project, and Burton's Process 4. Skaters got sweaty on the mini-ramp and with the Grenade crew in town; fun was being had by all.

The party relocated to downtown Burlington at Club Metronome to rock out with Deathpact, Bludwulf, and Retard Riot. After some confusion and drunken stumbling, I got stuck on the Vans tour bus back to town because I couldn't find my sober Tahoe driver and friends. This ride was fast and destructive. For some reason I was shot-gunning red bulls with the pretty Pat Fenelon and Darrel Mathes and somebody was throwing popcorn into my mouth. By the time the bus came to a stop in some sketchy parking lot in the downtown Burlington vicinity, the bus was a wreck. The Vans team manager wasn't impressed.

Yo

Finally we arrived in front of Metronome and with my VIP status as Yobeat-Intern I was able to cut the line and get in the back door with the Deathpact drummer Calvin without paying any fees. Oh, the lush rockstar lifestyle. I met up with Brooke again and people kept buying us drinks trying to get us shitfaced or something. People were getting kicked out for pissing and lungdarting in the bar which is apparently illegal here in the state of Vermont. All in all, I would have to say everyone partied like it was their twenty-first birthday or 1999. Stay rad and let it snow.
