I don't know about you guys, but me and the people i ride with aren't amazing. And I always encounter the same problem wherever, and whenever we go riding.

As soon as some kid does anything sick, everyone shuts down. For example, we can cruize through the park just dickin' around on the little features, but when we get to the big jump line, kids are going crazy. Standing up top we see 12 year olds doing doubles, which is pretty awesome to watch. But as soon as this happens, they go from "Yeah lets hit these! They're groomed so fine" to, "yeah im just gonna go around". Personally i think its disgusting how good they are, but i don't care. There's always going to be someone better than me, and all that stuff, etc.

What do i say to my friends to make them realize this? It's no fun hitting features by yourself. CryCry

how about you tell your friends to stop being pussies and stop caring what other people think

young kids will always be better at shit that involves possible bodily injury.

or get new friends and you stop being a pussy

Caring what other people will say or think about your snowboarding is the worst thing.  We all can understand that it can be nerve racking to roll into an area where everyones flowing and killing it but as long as youre capable of hitting the features safely just wait for an opening and start getting after it.  Chances are your friends will follow suit.  if they dont then they will never progress and you will be the king of the group.

snowboarding is about fun, if youre stressing out because a 12 year old did a double rethink your take on things
