| You can be as cynical as you want about the idea of rollerskating, after
all, Jimi Scott certainly didn't improve the image of the sport, but the minute you meet
Brian Wainwright you will change your mind. Not only is he a sweet, well mannered
young man, but he could probably smoke your ass in the vert ramp. How long have you
been rollerskating?
Since 1980. Skateboarding for a few years before that.
Do you Snowboard at all?
Yeah, a little bit. Not competitively or anything, I just like powder.
Where are you from?
North Carolina.
Not the best snowboarding down there anyway.
No, but I travel. My brother lives in Seattle, so I go out there.
Do you know Jimi Scott?
(Laughing) Yeah I do. I used to skate with him a lot.
Is he cool?
He can be cool. I like him, we're pretty good friends.
What do you think of Rollerbladers?
I think it's pretty cool. Whatever you're into you know, as long as you're having fun. I
know there's a lot of vibes between everything, but I think if we support each other we
can make stuff really happen.
